Jesus, a myth? by Charlie Morgan
as we meander through meaning
looking for life
we hear, we read, we collect
noxious ideas, noxious friends
and all of us
are the caravan, all of us
also the dog that barks
upon seeing the caravan.
Jesus is 2036, this year.
His myth is 4000 years old.
in the eleusinian mysteries
he was osiris-dionysus,
iacchos, mithras, attis, bassareus,
bromios, euios, sabazius, yhoneus,
lenaios, eluthereus, et al.
or some at least.
did He exist, does He exist?
we think, we hope, we plan.
we live like He doesn't,
yet make plans like He does.
and we buy low and sell high
to the bidder with the most.
and we feel good because
[in our puppy dog-mind]He approves.

Jesus, is no myth. Our Lord does exist.
Finding or feeling his presence is not hard to do. One just needs a willing heart. :)
Or is it, because one can't touch or see him?
Afterall, it's not rocket science. :)
