[illbient]

by Joseff Marat

two cole birds sit on the black lines
and an untitled song obstructs my view
i hear a moorish chanting in the away
with the battle cry of savage northmen subdued

pen scratches blank ink on my tablet
hoping to be possessed by the drone;
non-relieving fuzz in binaural patterns
monologues on reel from rain and stone

remote sensing in the outer beat
[apparently the land can speak]
i put my ear to the ground...
i only hear insects.

Author's Note: Though I'm very fond of it, this was my response to some illbient/sombient/dark ambient sound that I was listening to on Lounging Sound radio. Though untested, I swear the effect of this music is better than any drug you can find out there.
