so red's my
new favorite color.

yesterday
I wrote a love poem
to your nose.

you said you could hear
the sad in my voice,
then you promptly
turned to go,
leaving me to write
some stupid love
to your face:

glaciers formed
the black pools
of your eyes.

& desperate as I am,
red's my new favorite color.
