you are nothing new in concept
just in form
in beauty
and illusion
you are my
tragedy for the moment
tomorrow
you'll be legendary
but just
yesterday's news
lucky for you
you can look back
to find your name in print
though you won't be
the first
or the last
poem I write

Author's Note: it's become clear to me that as much as I put these people on pedestals, it wouldn't be unbelievable for me to knock them down in a week or two. I do it all the time. in fact, this tragedy for the moment seems to be coming to a close.
