burning water by Charlie Morgan
according to heraclitus
everything burns
at one time or another.
i burn as i write this
and you burn as you read it,
we smolder into air and smoke;
only to return again
to burn more, breathe more
and to once again
begin the
repetition
of a different sameness
found in each living death.

Posted by Graeme Fielden on 09/28/05 at 02:36 PM quite a cerebral juxtiposition, Chaz...I loved the way you set it all up then hit a "homer" with the last line... |
