As if your life depended on it

by Vikki Owens

hold on,
grasp at straws,
grasp at grains of sand,
the trickle-down will sustain you,
let the air support you,
let time continue.

hold on,
the wait will be well worth it,
we never know the time or place,
let patience be your mantra,
let the infinite wisdom of tomorrow
be your resting place.

Yes, this is e.g.b.o.k. Only for me, I have to return myself to the wisdom of the moment - the present. The mantra of patience is sometimes so very difficult, but well worth it.
