Posted by Ashok Sharda on 10/01/05 at 03:44 AM This piece seems to depict the mechanism of certain LAWS which work silently never letting us to BE.
‘Associations woven into the intruders' nests
Emerging from the world out there
Enticing with hollow pleasures the trespassers within’
Associations find their energy source ‘out there’, which in turn energizes the intruders, who is an imposter in the disguise of the Master of the house. Many of the eastern esoteric schools have compared human being with a house which consists of many rooms of which master is hardly aware of. He is the master but he is not. He is not because he is not the master of himself. And this is where the temptations (now, what is temptation, if not a repeatedly reinforced suggestion, having a positive association with some of your selves), ‘Riding on the backs of intruders’ ( yes, your own selves, charged and mesmerized by this temptation), ‘Dressed up in sheep's robes’ - what kind of role these intruders play in your life if not that of ‘Wolves claiming ownership, borrowed’- take charge of the house.
The temptations is what prevails in these moments of ‘illusions’. The house is now ‘run by the imposters’. One will appear claiming to be the master and disappear while the other will take charge and claim ownership and so on ‘Emerging from our fragmented world within’
‘But one day the master may REALIZE
Those who pulled the wool over his eyes’
Yes, may realize, because this realization is hard to come by despites all the claims and assumptions, unless one is FACE to FACE with these intruders.
This piece, as one can very well surmise, is the out come of this face to face confrontation and a long drawn battle when the Master of the House ‘strips them of the costumes Which gave them power to be’. The energy sources are independent of the intruders, named ‘temptation’ here with, can be in any form, any shape, any object, person, place, space, time, sound or color and associations of these intruders with them needs to be cut off, making them powerless. This is the mechanism of the creation of selves and their maintenance, which needs to be UNDONE, not the mechanism but the inflow of the energies by being PRESENT, watchful and alert. They must be stripped of their costumes, there energy source.
And when done/undone, ‘The house undivided is clean, the structure sound… When ONE is Master of the house’
A REALIZED soul ‘can never DO what one hates’. A realization of the realization, in nut shell.
