don't ever leave

by Emily Davidson

my life is typical now
the way the ex-boyfriend calls
and says he wants to talk but then
says

nevermind, it's not important

and i am too strong to say

i miss you
everything about you

from the coarseness of your hair,
to the softness of your lips and
the tenderness of your tonuge

to the way you'd hold me
with our hips touching, stomach.to.stomach
your hands on my back
your lips on my lips

and how you'd kiss me so much until
i asked you to stop

and you'd hold me close while you slept
and you'd say
don't leave
don't ever leave

i miss you.

i cannot lie.

Whoa.... I'd cry to, writing this. It means alot to a man to hear feelings like these from the woman's point of view. Great lines: "with our hips touching, stomach.to.stomach" and "and how you'd kiss me so much until i asked you to stop" and the honesty at the end - "I miss you - I cannot lie." Deeply touching. .... .... it's the wind I swear.
