Museless to Music (I'm in trouble!)

by Dave Fitzgerald

Staring at a blank page.
Useless as a speechless sage.
Writers block has been an age...
Oh boy, I'm in trouble!

Lost for words, I'm in a plight.
Hand and brain are in a fight.
Word blind, I've lost my sight...
Oh boy, am I in trouble!

Archangel of Simile, I'm in need of sympathy,
I need a muse, to amuse, just don't accuse me
of being lazy.
Mistress of Soliloquy, help me with my symphony.
Please be my muse, help me amuse, but don't accuse me
of being crazy.

Writing naught, I'm for the birds,
A broken man without my words.
Even this line seems... tut!
Can't you see? I'm in trouble!
