All sacrifice and no substance gnawing at my dripping mind and pounding body
Mind's memories are often treasonous though I caress them knowing their serpentine nature
God I was once better than this

Sixty and a hundred repetitions and swimming underwater for two days straight
Crooked walking slowly up to asphalt head bloodied and a bit bowed as I go
Come tomorrow I will be better than this
