i'm asked to see the sheep,
and necessarily close at hand;
i get them in a single mob.

and to see enough of them
here and there to feel easy
that nothing had gone wrong;

this is no difficult matter,
for they are not above
my eyesight, all 31 of them;

and being proper sheep
they are pretty quiet
as i've heard not one baaaa.
