Between you and a
Lost love

To see her standing
Before me would leave me
Absolutely speechless

While absence does make the
Heart grow fonder, it also brings forth
Alot of questions

How are you?
What's new?
Do you still care for me as I you?

Even as I see myself
Staring into her beautiful
Hazel eyes

I can feel myself
Sliding back to five years before
And I think to myself

The more things change, the more they stay the same.
