Katrina back strokes,
Bobbing in fecal matter -
The new Atlantis.

With seven day's thirst
Blameless dogs seek dry paw truth-
Balanced porch ballet.

Death liquid in lungs
Slipping soundlessly downward.
Peace in the chaos.

Bloated torso glides -
Bobbing in aqua tango,
Water's rhythm dance.

You live this moment
To contemplate your release
