Ray knocked to the ground
The VBIED spun him around
on the ground, blood around

Doors stuck, truck's burning
Crawl out through the smokey gory maze
fall out onto my face

Reach back grab the mic
Josh needs help call for the birds
Reach into the flames

The Lt screams my name
Trucks burning get outta there
Josh please don't let go

Choppers are coming
Tooth is blown out, eyes shut tight
The doc says he's ok

I cant believe this
Im alive don't know how nor why?
Josh may lose his eyes
