upon falling, remember to bring a blanket by Ava Blu
like leaves,
we're piling up snowflakes
to lay our fearful bodies upon;
after we sleep,
tomorrow will be full of cherry blossoms
and tangerine slices
in the corners of our eyes
we will not feel drained anymore
after the vitamin C kicks in
and we remain solid
in spite of the doubting puddle
beneath our heads.
