I was the rabbit
That a magician
Pulled out of a hat
My job was harder though
I had to play cards
With the magician
Before and after
The show
And I had to lose
So the magician felt good
And my name
Wasn't on the marquee
But the magician's was
I was exploited
As a rabbit
That knew how to wiggle
Its nose
At the audience
We should have been a team
But it was all about him
The magician
His show
His tricks
I was just a rabbit
Pulled out of a hat.
