philosophers ask
by Charlie Morgan
the philosopher's task
is to ask
the harder questions,
giving not suggestions.
for if he can find
a young unadulterated mind
to stir into it his dangerous tea
of ways to think, ways to be,
then his wanton results
and his pride and lust
are found in his words,
the ones you heard.
and smile, will he
when [for him] you hug a tree.
