I listened to a girl sing with guitar
every song was the sound of the
teenage depressed.
rain and thunder seemed to be the image of choice
and however much i criticized the sentiment
and the cliched idea
music is always different than poetry
her soft voice
and strumming guitar
brought me away
i was broken in myself
how close i felt to
the drivel.
