These letters set upon the page
Promise to us a better age
Seen in cycle of shedding trees
Heard in birds musical twitterings
Set in all the stones small glitter
The settings sun's glorious flicker
Built upon the past of man
Crumbled dust before he began
Souls made for all eternity
To one day open up and see
Like flowers for the morn
God's light revealed anew reborn
