Biting into my chicken salad idealized
Sitting here at lunch perusing My Yahoo,
I skipped a few pages more and realized,
Somebody likes olives too.

I read the profile carefully, on my modem in stealth
Reading around the comments I hastily view
And among this persons vast scientific wealth
Somebody likes olives too

I snicker and giggle, “no it can’t be!”
It’s just too good to be true
Well, possibly he’s hugged a tree
Yet somebody likes olives too.

I finally make a hurried crunch
Into the cold dill pickle wrapped in my lunch
Glancing up from my desk at my dying bamboo
Interesting I mutter, somebody likes olives too.
