Imperfection by Alison McKenzieImperfection makes it interesting
Why, if there were no imperfection
My scars wouldnt be precious
Your left hook wouldnt turn me on
My smile wouldnt be, well, me.
Imperfection is one of my favorite spices
No two dishes ever the same
And yet decadent none the less
Because underneath the blemished surface rides
Love
Tolerance
Kindness
And endurance.
Yes, imperfection makes it all interesting.
And I thank God every day
That we have had the opportunity
To know it together.
