The science of waiting (del rio inspired)

by Jennifer L Banks

I cannot wait to kiss my taste off your lips
To burn up in the night under a lunar eclipse.
To feel your breath upon my canvas pale
To writhe in ecstasy off the Richter scale
Be touched by your hands and be carefully held
Aching for your intense lead I’m quelled
The sweetened soil of many shores
in your travels of truth outdoors
Science predominately has your mind
Our chemistry is not linear defined.
Our energy on different levels combust
With each physical intoxicating thrust
Like some ecological twist of fate
Two rivers held back, all I can do is wait…..
