Am I your New Kids on the Block
am I your caffeine free soda pop
am I your What-would-Jesus-do keychains?

Am I gonna fade away
like Faye Dunaway
or that girl whose name used to be Norma Jean?

Because I don't come sugar free
and I don't know any catchy tunes
and the pants have become too tight

and yes my star will eventually fade
but today, today
that's what matters

right?

Author's Note: ok written a while ago in response to another challenge to use Pokemon, New Kids on the Block and Faye Dunaway in a poem. On a funny side note... I used this poem as my application to get on this site and was rejected... now I can post it anyway *evil laugh* if you don't like it... tell me why. give me some constructive feedback
