I can't tell you why
the tensions rise

But seeing as they do
One can only hope to

Put in place of strings that snap
the ones that stand up stonger

To the stress we place upon them
with our hands.




If hands one moment lack
the arms to reach them for the string

What can we do but play with five
and let our music breathe

some other way?
