Midnight channel
Shimmering in the full moon light
Meandering purposeful
Beneath the inky night sky

Intrigued by its journey
It defines a safe haven
Hidden in the day light
Revealed to my eyes

Only at this moment
As if to say
Watch, learn, beware of
A Soul search beacon

It offers a road safely followed
But one seldom taken
As the late the night clouds
Obliterate its view
