Moonlight Dancer

by Uriel Tovar

the plastic pool
spilled over
with the swim suited
girl
dripping her
cone on the
sun dried grass
watering it to
new life
with her squeeky wet
dance steps.

"dripping her cone on the sun dried grass watering it to new life" - what I see here is beautiful, I find myself identifying the "sun dried grass" with the subject, it is HE who derives new life from this beautiful little girl who showers him with her essence, it is SHE who gives his moment meaning. This is such a lovely tribute, I like it so much Uriel, truly.

'dripping her cone on the sun dried grass watering it to new life.'... so full of life. This little girl seems to be depicting LIFE 'with her squeeky wet dance steps.
