Change of Venue

by Jane E Pearce

I dwelt among the flowers-

beautiful to behold,

velvet petals, tall stems

worshipping the sun,

but the magnificent perfection

brought dull stagnant days-

I knew boredom would  arrive-

for when living among the weeds,

I felt more alive.

Quite the symbolism here. Intriguing! This surely can be intrepreted on various levels.

Yes, more at home. More at ease with this association.

A perfect analogy, Jane. Much enjoyed!
