Hercules Aint Got Nothin On You

by Britt Zimmerman

What is it about you?
That lights a fire between my thighs
That triggers a connection with my animal instincts
Like the passion and thunder that beat in my chest
like fists to the sky
and the dark clouds that hover
breathing new air into my lungs

And there you are like hercules with your mighty tongue
that laughs in the face of the sword I have thrown
that leaves me pathetic and helpless
like the heroine in a trashy romance novel
and you like the steed he rides in on
giving more of a thrill than the muscle bound hottie

Your beauty lies within those lovely pools
that I bathe in and swim through
and your hands rough like the sandy beach that pierce my soft skin and make me beg for more

I am humbled, but I feel like a woman again...
