Shivering
Uncommonly
In the water’s
Effervescence
The crisp spray
Rejuvenating
My awkward limbs.
Slurping sips
Of the seasoned
Ocean water.
Manmade hummocks
Mangle the most charming
Views of the face of God
Man too insignificant
To destroy this beauty
And yet, too eager
To prove it wrong
