Could It Be Possible

So excited and so passionate
About someone you just met?
Why does your heart flutter
Skip a beat whenever you think of him,
As though you have known him forever?
Is there really such a thing?
Is "Love at first sight" possible,
Or just a figment in life?
Is there really that right person for everyone
And that you really just know
The moment you look at him.
You just know that you were meant for him
He was meant to be yours,
And that there really is such a thing as true love.
I don't know if there is such a thing,
But when I looked into his eyes
I saw something, felt something I have never felt before
So I think there is such a thing as true love
Have I found it? I don't know
Time will tell but I believe it is possible 07/04/2005 Author's Note: How can you know someone so briefly and feel the way I feel, like you have known them for eternity and this is how it was supposed to be. I feel that this is true, I have never felt like this before. I suppose we shall have to wait and see.

Its a long drawn process. besides, love must be part of an understanding of the self and the other and not the other way round. Love has to be a 'conscious love'and not emotional or physical. |
