she never got an invitation

by Shonda Chrissonberry

she walks her hall of memories
alone
always looking down

sitting at the table
desolate
no one else around

she finds a quiet spot
solitude
to dwell upon things unsaid

wanting to be noticed
forsaken
she takes her life instead

Shon, this is sad; the "if only's" can bug us forever. Reaching out does help...sometimes.

very sad- you said so much with so few words. Great read, but painful nonetheless
