crammingdowncrowded by Frankie Sancheza middle finger extends in a passing car
behind glass; and it changes nothing.
extended finger -- fingernail clipped;
a clean cut curse,
and all who observe it have
similar thoughts.
fuck you.
we're all cramming down crowded streets,
onboard humid trains,
in restraining elevators,
no more roomforspacebetweencharacters
so close we can smell intentions.
so close we'rebleedingintooneandother.
and we're dying
to tell everyone around us
to fuck off,
to fuck themselves,
how bad we want to fuck them,
fuck you.
who can do it harder,
who can do it faster,
who can get away with it,
from behind glass,
from outside our comfort zone,
i swear
if it wasn't a middle finger
it would have been a penis
just as erect, just as vulgar,
just as in your face, up inside you
cramming down crowded,
onboard humid,
in restraining,
and to passers by with middle fingers
this is how we look
youyouyouyouyoumeyouyou.
no more room for s p a c e
betweencharacters.
