but it is the having that I want.
Desire replaces need
And taking outlasts sharing
As the only way to proclaim any lack of weakness.
You stole everything, purchased everything.
Prophet you are not but profit allowed you to forget yourself.
Taking more than necessary-
You keep wanting until there is no limit that will satisfy.
I'm still here beneath you, one of many waiting
For some signal that you finally had enough,
Waiting for you to give,
To turn to those behind you
And offer a portion of your earnings
To the slightly more deserving.
