Haze by Christopher ShinRed glimmers for me
as I try to remember
pieces of memories of you.
Thirst of a thousand
demons scream when you
leave me.
I drink another glass
as your crimson hopes
only bring me tragedy.
How ironic you left me
empty with my own demise.
Demonic as you seem
I am the victim of my
own misery of pieces
of hope.
So I'll drink another
haze of sadness for
the memory of you.
Pathetic am I to you,
because you'll forget me
so easily.
I'm a spec to you,
but you are a chunk of
my only redemption.
So easily you forget me,
and I walk away sadly.
Sadly because I'm an
ant in your pie,
and your mind an magnified
youth.
So let my intoxication
fade into regret,
and my mind slips in
regret. 06/10/2005 Posted on 06/11/2005 Copyright © 2025 Christopher Shin
