Unfortunate Illusion by Tota LongmireI want to be an inverse chameleon,
Stand out so far I can't be seen.
To be so bright that peoples' eyes,
Will just slide right off of me.
Rainbow hair and black lined eyes
To scare away their glances.
Glaringly invisible I can be.
I wonder how many will be willing
To face the colors and discover
What's hidden underneath?
How many will find the secrets
That can't blend with the mundane?
The ones that had to be covered
With camouflage so bright,
So glaring it can't be perceived? 06/09/2005 Posted on 06/09/2005 Copyright © 2026 Tota Longmire
