a leaky faucet in the bathroom
i stand
tooclose to the mirror i can
no longer recognize myself
through someone elses
eyes
and these lies
i tell to you are fragments of
a truth i need to believe
i love you
and it will never make a difference
why or
how
only that i do
in spite of everything.
