a poem for daddy from braddley by Bradd Howard"tell me something exciting. I have 20 more minutes to kill."
"Well I (bleep) when I (expletive deleted)"
"Well that would do it"
You've disappeared again...
just your screen name taking up space.
Where do you go while you are away?
a tear drop on a computer screen
a morose keyboard.
Where do you go while you are away?
to the arms of girls who don't deserve you?
daddy come back.
let's bask in our mutual love of poetry.
that is something that will never sour. 06/01/2005 Author's Note: well daddy... here it is... not sure if I like it... might take it down after 24 hours but wanted to prove to you that I was working on something...

Posted by Paul Marino on 06/01/05 at 08:01 PM bradd, i like it. here's what i want to see; i want to see what daddy said inside those bleeps. i want a little more of that. more of the conversations, the give and take. that's the really interesting stuff. |
