Tearless

by Alison McKenzie

Tearless days of wonder

Dry eyes
Drink each moment
Recording the wonderland
Of joy in which I walk
Softly upturned lips murmur
Grateful thanks to gods and guides
Intentions drawing experiences of love
Blowing into my heart
With the coolest breeze of peace
Surrounded by my children
Teenage lamps of energy and hope

I can’t remember ever being happier.

Whenever you're feeling down, remember this feeling, close your eyes, breathe it in deeply and 'ahhh' you'll be happy again. Wonderfully written, Ali.
