The Poem Sub Never Got by Aaron HowardDriving home with your taste still on my lips
Driving over the bridge tunnel, seeing the pasing ships..
Hands sticky on the steering wheel
After a night of you making me feel.
Warmth in my belly, Pounding in my chest
Beneath me, you make me feel the best.
You latch onto me like wind in the rain
And in your eyes, I never feel any pain.
Slipping and sliding down this comfortable path
And theres really no point in counting on internal math
Shattered are the concepts I once knew too well
But when IM inside you, I get to be in part of your shell.
Ghosts rattle cages behind frozen eyes
Glazed over by that deep penetration surprise
Gasping for air under a blanket of moistness
These little things we all come to miss.
This grasp onto someone under the light of adult swim
As I look down, no need, Im already in.
Knee dep but still over my head
As I tumble inside your eyes..here in your bed.
Tied down like slaves just for your amusement
But nothing but satisfaction is what youve sent.
Lights low, sparkles in your eyes wide smile
Hoping I can hold on to it for just a little while.
Groping at you, deep in your sleep
Hopting this is one secret I dont have to keep.
Pulling your hair from behind,
Closing your eyes, when we kiss is sublime
I still see your face, like an internal impression
As you send my fears back into forgotten regression.
Watching the moves on your face, that sly smile
As you try and keep your tact and guile.
Goosebumps on your goose bumps from my meandering touch
These things youll come to miss about me, a little too much.
The way I tied you down and worshipped your soul
The ways you could for once.. just let down your control.
The ways I please, the ways I feel
The ways I am here for you, here
Now
and real.
