Cold fury raged by Amanda BullingtonCold fury raged
From me, on the
Brink of suicide
To cast itself far
From the seething
Of my mind, until,
Suddenly the same thought
Struck me, and suicide
Took over my brain. Pound
One, pound two and three
Until the pounding's
Nothing a human mind
Could bear, and my head
Drips bloody carnage
Down upon my face.
The explosion's bearable
Only if I'm tied down
Tight, I think, collecting
Bits of brain from the
Corners of my room, but,
Alas, my fingers slip away
From the belt encircling
My neck another day, and
I wait enduring agony
Another day, another day,
To cool my raging fury. 05/25/2005 Posted on 05/26/2005 Copyright © 2024 Amanda Bullington
