I Rose At Dawn

by Maria Terezia Ferencz

I rose at dawn
red wet with drops of dew
left from touch of you

you rose as night
gave way into the gray
secrets hidden stay
cannot be brought to light

I rose at dawn
never bloom by day
spread petals with the night
