Betrayal Is A Symptom by Jersey D GibsonYou thought it was all about you,
you thought it was all about me,
you thought it was all about us,
you thought it was all about...?
I thought that it was over and done with,
I thought that it was gone and done with,
I thought that it was long and drawn out,
I thought that it was over...?
We were through and wanted more,
we were through and screamed more,
we were through and started more,
we were through and...?
You left me with a knife in my back.
I left you for dead and dying.
We thought it was all over, but we were wrong. 05/21/2005 Author's Note: I'm not sure what this is about, either...

Posted by Quentin S Clingerman on 05/22/05 at 08:31 PM Talk about confusion!! You've expressed it emphatically here! Sounds like a relationship that has soured but not quite enough to make cheese. Had to chuckle thought the subject matter hardly a laughing matter. We human beings can be so mixed up sometimes! :) |
