the thing about raisins is this... by Mary Ellen Smiththe thing
about raisins
is this.
they grow
on the vine
as grapes.
picked
dried
shriveled
and
puckered up....
the lucky ones
get covered in
chocolate. 05/20/2005 Author's Note: A conversation that I had with my three year old grandgirl, Kate. She said I am a whole lot of silly. But I think that next time she has chocolate covered raisins she will see them in a whole new light...tee hee
