In Search Of

by Shonda Creemer

Once upon a dream
a Captain set sail
in a treehouse riverboat
flying through the air

Bound for grand adventures
his desires out on deck
not sure where he was going
but determined nonetheless

Leaving behind a desert life
dry ~ without relief
searching in the big blue sky
for someone to make him complete

Soon others began to follow
filling that lonely space all around
each possessing a dream of their own
what's lost can always be found

Author's Note: Again, thanks to Paul Lastovica for the wonderful exercise and picture. Check out his journal! (you should try this, it is worth it)
