lost

by Richard Trotter

I hate the fact
you're not my business,
I'm not allowed to know
whose lips you kiss
whose arms you miss
what dreams you entertain.
Just the colour of my pain
lost like a mannequin in snow
i'm not allowed to know.

You can always put your ideas so eloquently into words... xoxo Megan

lost like a mannequin in snow i'm not allowed to know.....the poem has such a simplicity, and that works for the subject matter, but these last lines are a killer!!! well done!
