"Never" by Max PhineasRegaining consciousness
Is the hardest thing
I'll ever have to do.
It means I'd have to leave
You in my thoughts.
I never want this to end.
Grasping tightly
The last strands of sunbeams
Gleaming
Streaming across your cheek
We lean in
For one last spark
A magical, soft, kiss
And I never want this to end.
Opening my eyes
Blurred images
Swirls of colors surround me.
But among pixelated silhouettes
Your face shines
Clearly and brightly
And your hand grasps mine.
This can never end.
