The Misadventures of Howard J. Witsend #3 Â Love by Jeffrey ParrenHowards in-depth perfunctory
When conversing with woman
Diluted his true personality.
He only found his true self
Complicated by women. He
Remembers some of the worst
Times in his life. Woman riddled.
He experienced what he thinks is
Love, then took some antacid
Feeling better knowing the truth,
And that the gas was gone. Two
Relationships he endured,
Serious in nature, only pained him.
One true love was puppy love,
Wet behind the ears, smelly dog.
Funny thing is he looks back to
Innocent, dumb years and finds
A gentler Howard. The years
Grow on him like 5 year old
Gouda, not so gouda anymore.
His frustration with love,
Relationships, compares mostly
To the trials and tribulations
Of Mike Tyson and English.
A nasty combination. Age
Steadily becomes a foe, when
Knowledge, experience and waist
Inflate, the easiest road is downhill.
When all is said and done, Howard
Realizes his needs are simple. He
Desires a cuddle buddy, a love,
A friend, one in the same,
Someone to intellectualize with,
Someone to wake up thinking about.
