hour one, hour two, hour three by Melanie J YarbroughI laid out on the floor
hours
after you left
my thoughts,
not thinking just breathing.
I could stare into
this ceiling for hours
after you leave
letting me breathe.
I do not turn the lamp
light on
until I know for sure
you've gone-
I'll let you, only, see my darkness.
