Confusion by Meagan GreenMmm, those delicious mountain suns
remembering and redecorating my memories
and only the most excellent ones
Oh my, how!
Streaming meadows are sleeping with me
afflux towards sweet frost skies of the highest degree
and I'm only half way done
Wow, such grotesque mental absurdities
there is only one step from the sublime to the ridiculous
and I'm not talking about the quiet ones
So now I'm back with the gentle tides
happy as the day is long for now somehow
and to think I'm nearly done
Oh god, no!
Besides, abstractions are just shades
of phantoms, ghosts, and smothered dreams
and confusion always writes poems 05/10/2005 Posted on 05/10/2005 Copyright © 2024 Meagan Green
