Sense Me

by Kimberly Bare

Touch
is all consuming
when skin burns with a blue-white flame.

Taste
can be exquisite
when lapping at delicacies of desire.

Scent
acts as an aphrodisiac
when closeness becomes comfort.

Sound
reverberates to inner depths
when whispered in passionate sighs.

Sight
is incomparable
when filling the mind with glorious visions.

Put all your senses into play
and let me overwhelm you.

Kim, I love sensory poems using every one of them. This is wonderful. The words and the images you paint are incredible. It's going on my favorites!
